This project is a completely personal project in which I wanted to find a solution to “model” in Dimension. So I started to try several times with Photoshop but I wanted this workflow to become efficient with the possibility of integrating it into a classic workflow.
To achieve this result I used Illustrator to create the different parts of the watch and with the Fontself extension I made a font with which it is possible to have more manipulation possibilities in Dimension.
Certainly this project and this workflow is in its V1 but in anticipation of nice updates to Dimension I think that future versions will help us to create even more efficiently for the implementation of 3D elements.
